Mike Ho This detail of a painting from the burial chamber shows King Tutankhamun (right) embracing the god of the dead, Osiris (left) whose green skin represents fertility and rebirth, with whom the king hoped to merge. Tutankhamun is accompanied by his ka which is not visible in this detail, but you can see its hand on the king's shoulder. The text above the figures serves to label the figures rather than dialogue.
