  2. atum hotep It is an example of how practices changed, the inclusion of a 'realistic' portrait (some are better than others) instead of an idealised one, elaborate wrapping at the expense of embalming, and leaving mummies standing in courtyards until there were enough family members to bury are some of the features of Late Period mummies that differentiate them from other periods.
